History of "Kumbaya Belly Dance Studio."
Welcome to "Kumbaya Belly Dance Studio." I am so excited to meet each
of you and get to know you better. I want to let you know personally the reason I have chosen the name "Kumbaya."
I am a Daddy's girl and he used to sing to me, "Kumbaya My Lord." It was even my first memory. He used
to call me his little Kumba. It came to us later that the word, Kumbaya came from Angola Africa and means "come
by here." My Daddy always wanted me near him.
I know while you are taking classes from me you will meet many
friends and some may even become your very best. I, as your instructor want you to "come by here" and enjoy the
art of belly dancing and the fun that comes with it. But also to give you a place where you can meet and learn about kids
your age and dance the night away with them. So, welcome to "Kumbaya Belly Dance Studio!" If you need anything please
